Distance Two Diagonal Square

I've made many puzzles where the exact distance between adjacent cells factors into some kind of clue, but never one where the distance between diagonal squares are mentioned.  The clues in this puzzle reveal whether the entries in cells diagonally adjacent are distance one, distance two, or farther apart.  In addition, the center square must be less than four.  As with all Latin square puzzles, rows and columns may not have repeated entries.
